| Northwest Indiana Pipes and Drums was formed in Valparaiso, Indiana, August, 2000. |
Our purpose and objective is to foster an interest and appreciation for the great highland bagpipe and drumming. |
The band proudly wears the Erskine tartan. |
Band practice and lessons are held every week. We alternate weekly with Thursday practices at the Chesterton Boys and Girls Club and Friday practices at Chesterton United Methodist Church. |
The band participates in parades and performs many concerts. |
As a member of the Midwest Pipe Band Association we enter band competitions throughout the midwest. |
Many of our pipers and drummers also compete as soloists. |
